Cardi B reportedly lost it backstage while preparing to be musical guest on Saturday Night Live’s 1,000th episode.
According to TMZ, insiders say she overheard a “Weekend Update” joke about Nicki Minaj... even though the joke wasn’t about her.
They note Cardi was so upset she threatened to walk off the show… but that’s not all… They say she threw her phone at a monitor, stormed into a production office and punched a screen until it broke.
TMZ reports that the joke was ultimately scrapped from and the incident left the cast and crew feeling uncomfortable.
They say neither Cardi nor SNL has publicly commented on the reported drama as of now.
