Nick Jonas got real about the moment his daughter Malti was born via surrogate in Jay Shetty’s on purpose podcast!
According to Page Six, she was born back in Jan 2022, but was 3 months premature! He said weighed just 1 pound, 11 ounces! Nick described her as "basically purple" when she first came out.
They note that Nick said she ended up spending over 100 days in the NICU before she was stable enough to go home.
Page Six reports he also revealed that since it was during the height of COVID-19, Nick and Priyanka had to pull 12-hour shifts for three and a half months just to make sure one of them was always by her side.
However, now that Malti is 4 years old, Nick says he's still "awestruck" by her. He feels like she somehow knows how hard she fought to be here, which makes every day with her feel like a gift.
