Channing shocked fans by posting a hospital selfie in a surgical gown, announcing he was heading into a major shoulder surgery.
According to USA Today, he shared some pretty gnarly X-rays showing a total shoulder separation—and then the "after" photo featuring a massive screw holding it back together.
They note that this happened during a ski trip at the Sundance Film Festival last month.
USA Today also reports he admitted this recovery is "gonna be hard," but he’s keeping his chin up. His girlfriend, Inka Williams, is already playing nurse, cheering him on in the comments.
They note that this is his second major hit lately... he’s still nursing a leg injury from the Avengers set. He joked that his brain thinks he’s 26, but his body is definitely feeling the "action star" mileage!
