New court-filed text messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift have shed some serious light on how their long friendship changed during Blake’s legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
Page Six reports that in the messages, Blake is checking in to ask if everything’s okay between her and Taylor, saying she felt like a “bad friend” after focusing so much on her own struggles.
They note that Taylor’s response acknowledged a sense of distance and exhaustion, explaining that she felt the tone of Blake’s texts had become less personal and she missed her “funny, dark, normal-speaking friend.”
Page Six reports that while the exchange ended pretty warmly, sources say the friendship continued to strain as the legal dispute dragged on, with some insiders describing the dynamic as damaged or “beyond repair.”
Page Six also reports that these released texts, specifically the one about Justin being a b-ach with a tiny violin actually confirms that Taylor’s song cancelled IS about Blake since, thats pretty much the lyrics right there.
