It looks like Sydney Sweeney’s latest project "Americana" has seemingly flopped after the controversy surrounding her American Eagle “genes” campaign.
According to Page Six, the film came in16th at the box office, which was pretty far behind other films out at the moment, like Freakier Friday.
Page Six also reports that Lionsgate did speak out on the films performance saying, it’s “part of a multi-platform strategy… and that its box office performance is in no way a disappointment, financial or otherwise.”
