The Met Gala has officially arrived and so did the looks! Though I thought this year's theme "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" would've been a flop, I was pleasantly surprised!
There were lots of looks I LOVEDDDD but way too many to mention! But here are my best and worst dressed for the evening!
NOTE: I am not a fashion historian and these looks are based on my knowledge of Karl Lagerfeld's work and my opinon.
BEST DRESSED (in no particular order):
Gigi Hadid in Givenchy
Rita Ora in Prabal Gurung
Bad Bunny in Jacquemus
Honorable mentions for best dressed also go to Billie Eilish, Halle Bailey, Anne Hathaway, Jenna Ortega, Margot Robbie and Amanda Seyfried.
And now...
The WORST DRESSED (also in no particular order)
Jared Leto as Karl Lagerfeld's Cat
Florence Pugh in Valentino
Janelle Monáe in Thom Browne
The Kardashians also flopped this year in my opinion. Kylie Jenner was boring and underwhelming, Kim Kardashian looked like her 2007 Playboy shoot, and Kendall Jenner looked like Kris Jenner.
Doja Cat's cat theme also didn't work for me.
