Kira Rumfola was heartbroken when she found out her pet fish Theo couldn't come home with her after her sophomore year of college. As Kira went to board her Southwest flight home, an employee names Ishmael informed her that Theo couldn't fly.
After realizing there was no good solution for the situation, Ishmael offered to take Theo home and care for him until Kira returns back to school in the fall.
Southwest tweeted updates and screenshots of messages between Kira and Ishmael and it looks like Theo is doing great!
Four months later, Kira returned to Tampa for school and got Theo back!
