Springfield Native and Hollywood Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter has made history! Over the weekend, she became the first black woman to receive TWO Oscars. She's done a ton of work on many of your favorite shows and movies throughout the years, but Carter first won the Oscar for "Best Costume Design" for Marvel's "Black Panther." On Sunday, she received her second history making win for her outstanding work on the sequel, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever". Both films are now streaming on Disney+. Read more about her win, here.
