Scooter Braun is talking about his feud with Taylor Swift again... and says he still doesn’t totally understand how things got so messy!
According to Page Six, he said on a podcast that he barely actually knows Taylor and that they’ve only crossed paths a few times.
They note that their drama started back in 2019 when Braun bought Big Machine Records, which included the masters to Taylor’s first six albums.
Page Six reports that Taylor slammed the deal at the time, saying she never got the chance to buy her music herself.
But they note that Scooter says the whole situation changed the conversation around artists owning their work. Of course, it also led to the whole “Taylor’s Version” era, with Taylor re-recording her old albums.
Page Six notes that Taylor officially bought back her masters in 2025, finally closing the chapter on the feud.
