The man accused of stealing unreleased Beyoncé music has been sentenced to prison!
According to Pitchfork, Kelvin Evans accepted a plea deal shortly before his trial was scheduled to begin.
They note he was sentenced to five years, with two years to be served in prison and the remainder on probation.
Prosecutors said Evans stole two suitcases and hard drives from a Jeep parked outside a building in Atlanta in 2025.
Pitchfork reports that according to authorities, the vehicle belonged to members of Beyoncé’s team during the Cowboy Carter tour stop in the city.
They write that investigators said the stolen hard drives allegedly contained unreleased Beyoncé music, tour setlists and concert footage.
Surveillance footage reportedly showed Evans parking near the vehicle before taking the items. The stolen materials have reportedly not been recovered.
