Ariana Grande is officially kicking off her new era with the first single off Petal!
Yahoo, Ari announced that "hate that i made you love me" will be the lead single from her upcoming album Petal.
They note that the song is set to drop May 29 and Ariana called it "one of my favorite songs I’ll ever write."
Ariana wrote that the track was created alongside longtime collaborators Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
They also report that Ariana also revealed that Petal will feature 12 tracks and release July 31 through her own label, BabyDoll Music.
Fans immediately started spiraling over the emotional title alone, with many already predicting heartbreak-pop Ariana is fully back.
Yahoo reports that the announcement comes just days after Ariana described the overall vibe of Petal as “a little feral” and more emotionally raw than past projects.
