Zayn Malik is hitting pause to focus on his health after a recent hospitalization!
According to People, he told fans he was “unexpectedly recovering” after a tough week, and shared the update straight from a hospital bed.
They note that now he’s reportedly going a step further and seeking treatment from the “No. 1 cardiologist in the world.”
People reports that because of it, he’s stepping back from promo... including canceling a planned appearance on The Tonight Show.
They also note that he also had to pull out of fan meet-and-greets, even though his new album Konnakol just dropped.
People say that the illness itself hasn’t been disclosed, but doctors advised him to take it seriously and rest.
Despite the setback, his first solo arena tour is still expected to kick off later this year.
