Sam Asghari is weighing in on his ex-wife Britney Spears following her recent DUI arrest.
According to People, in interview he said he understands that "people make mistakes."
They note that he also said he hopes the media gives Britney the privacy she needs while she deals with the situation.
People reports that she was arrested in Ventura, California on March 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence and was released the following morning.
They note that Sam and Spears were together for years after meeting in 2016, marrying in 2022 before their divorce was finalized in 2024.
