Sydney Sweeney has officially launched her new lingerie brand called Syrn!
According to People, she rolled it out on social media with the tagline “No explanation, no apology.”
They note that the announcement came right after a viral publicity stunt tied to the brand that stirred controversy: a video showed her and a team decorating the iconic Hollywood Sign with strings of bras to promote the line — something the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce says was not authorized.
People reports that her team reportedly got a permit from FilmLA to film near the sign, they didn’t have permission to climb or touch the landmark itself, and the Chamber has stressed that any commercial use requires its approval.
