Justin and Hailey Bieber have lawyered up!
According to Page Six, the couple sent a cease-and-desist letter to TikTok creator Julie Theis after she posted videos claiming their marriage is abusive and that Justin’s past drug issues make their relationship unhealthy.
They claim that the letter, sent through their attorney Evan Spiegel, calls the claims false, fabricated and defamatory, and demands she take down the videos and stop making these allegations or face legal consequences.
Page Six also reports that Theis fired back on social media, saying her content is just opinion-based commentary on relationship dynamics and accusing the legal move of trying to silence her speech.
They note that this all ties back to a viral video where Theis described the couple’s relationship as an example of a “tolerant codependent” dynamic — which the Biebers have denied.
Page Six notes Hailey even took to Instagram earlier in the week to clarify she didn’t repost such videos herself.
