Lil Nas X has missed his court date!
According to People, the singer missed his pre-trial hearing for the incident which landed him in jail last month.
However, they note he missed court due to his admittance to rehab! The judge on the case excused the absence saying, "Defendant is allowed to remain out of state as long as he remains in treatment." He went on to say when his "treatment changes, and he becomes outpatient, then we'll talk."
People reports Lil Nas X's attorney's said, "we're doing what is best for Lil Nas X from a personal standpoint and a professional standpoint, but most importantly, for his well-being."
