Katy Perry is not happy with Wendy's!
According to People, the singer is demanding an apology after Wendy's social media got sassy about her trip to space!
They note the fast food chain's social media account responded to tweet about her returning from her Blue Origin space journey saying, "Can we send her back?" as well as another which read, "when we said women in stem this isn’t what we meant."
People reports that sources close to Katy note she is NOT happy. One source revealed, "Wendy’s didn’t make a joke — they made a choice. Their recent posts on X aimed at Katy Perry were not only disrespectful, but blatantly inappropriate... This wasn't harmless banter, this was a billion-dollar brand using its platform to publicly demean a woman... when billion-dollar brands join in, it’s irresponsible."
They also note that in response Wendy's didn't exactly apologize but wrote, "We always bring a little spice to our socials, but Wendy’s has a ton of respect for Katy Perry and her out-of-this-world-talent."
