PREPARE FOR AN EPIC RESCUE MISSION
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT – Leaps & Bones is proud to introduce a unique, family-friendly event coming to the hangars of the New England Air Museum on Saturday, February 11, 2023, introducing Paws to Planes. This event partnership will bring three well-known, regional rescue groups together for one big mission. Dog Star Rescue, Labs4Rescue, and Protectors of Animals will have adoptable dogs available for meet & greets with all attendees in hopes of achieving the goal of placing each pup in a forever home.
Admission to this event includes all exhibits and interactive activities that the New England Air Museum has to offer, access to adoptable pups from all three rescue groups, unique, handmade items from local artisans, live music from Summit Studios, and food available for purchase from notable food truck vendors, Kraftwich, Square Peg Pizzeria, and Pig Rig BBQ.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, iHeartMedia, Community Access with Renee DiNino, Other Designs, The Honest Kitchen and Stella & Chewy’s in partnership with the New England Air Museum admission to the event will be half-price from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM on the day of the event. Children 3 and under are free.

2020 marked the 60th anniversary of the Connecticut Aeronautical Historical Association, the parent organization of the New England Air Museum. The NEAM: 60 Years, 60 Stories project celebrates this important milestone by chronicling the museum's history through the stories of current and former museum volunteers and employees as well as institutional records. Tales of aircraft restorations, open cockpits, and even a rogue tornado can be found within this multimedia exhibit, with many stories featuring testimonials from some of the men and women whose hard work and dedication helped make the New England Air Museum the organization it is today.
