One of my favorite traditions is going on now through the endo of the month 27th Annual Scarecrows Along Main Street Come to the historic district of Wethersfield and see something spectacular! Scarecrows will be popping up alongside shops, restaurants, museums, colonial homes and more this fall season. Scarecrows along Main is sponsored by the Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers Association.

It’s time for pumpkin patches, hayrides and haunted houses and adventures!!! Guardians Farm is celebrating in style with lots of vendors and fun and a cow named Luke! Bates Rd in Southbury Saturday and Sunday!
And now through October 30th enjoy - Wee Faerie Village: Twinkle Point at Florence Griswold Farm in Old Lyme! Artists and faerie aficionados are already hard at work on their faerie-sized roller coasters, carousels, arcades, and shops – everything you might find at any amusement park – only tiny. Music at The Big E closes with Friday Chase Rice & Jimmi Allen, and Sunday Lynryd Skynyrd at the Big E Arena but my heart at the Court of Honor Stage John Waite will be performing his catalogue of hits from his 40 year career as a solo artist, with The Baby’s and Bad English.
Sunday it’s the Wolcott Dog Pound Pawtoberfest 2022 at Johnny B's Roadside Saloon to benefit the Wolcott Dog Pound! There will be live music, food, drinks, raffle prizes, and more. Admission is $20 and it all goes to the animals!
