This is why you can't trust being out on the open sea. Tate McRae recently shared what happened during a terrifying jet ski accident with her boyfriend The Kid LAROI, and it's enough to make you never want to go into the ocean again.
During a UK radio interview, Tate was asked about the jet ski incident — which almost led to the couple being eaten by a WHALE. Per Page Six, she said, "I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into. You know you have trust in your boyfriend, but also jet skis are the worst. They flip over every two seconds."
And flip they did, because she remembers finding themselves "ten feet away" from a while after leading in the water. She remembered, "It was the big moment of our trip. I was like, ‘We nearly just landed in a whale’s mouth!'"
Tate went on to say about the ocean, "That's so freaky to me, the ocean is just a really freaky thing to me, you’re just in there and it’s black and your toes are dangling and that’s so weird," adding, "I got that feeling when we fell in the water and you’re just tingling at the bottom of your feet and you’re like, 'We could die right now.'"
McRae and The Kid LAROI have spent most of 2024 dating, but after this experience, it's safe to say they share a bond for life.
