Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Reveals She Suffered a Miscarriage

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex has revealed in an article for the New York Times that she had a miscarriage in July. She wrote ‘I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.’ Meghan wrote that "loss and pain have plagued every one of us in 2020. Hours later, from a hospital bed, I watched "my husband's heart break as he tried to hold the shattered pieces of mine".
