Back in October an East Haddam woman was attacked by a coyote. She was able to fight off the coyote with a pitchfork before her donkey kicked it. Yes, her donkey helped fight off the coyote. The coyote bite her boot but didn't break the skin. Later in the day the woman said she saw the same coyote and tried to run it over but he escaped again. The coyote was later spotted by a neighbor then it was shot and killed.
This is a crazy story. The coyotes are getting bold. Last night while I was taking my dogs out 2 coyotes ran about 100 feet from me and into my backyard while my dogs were doing there business. I rushed my dogs into the house. I'm looking into getting a life saving donkey now.
