No More Payphones In NYC

New York City will soon no longer have payphones on its streets.

Due to the popularity of cell phones, the payphones are no longer commonly used.

The removal will provide more space on the sidewalks which will make it easier for people with disabilities or strollers to move throughout the city.

There will be some Link NYC internet kiosks put in place of the payphones which provide internet and phone calling capabilities for the public.
