‘Joker’ Fans Flock to Stairs From Dancing Scene

For every big Hollywood star, there's always a newcomer jockeying to steal his or her spotlight. Even when the star is an outdoor staircase -- such as the one made famous by the "Rocky" films.

Threatening to circumvent the fame of the Philadelphia steps is the concrete staircase that Joaquin Phoenix dances on in the blockbuster film "Joker." Located on West 167th Street in the Bronx, the site has become New York's latest tourist attraction, as hundreds of visitors have been turning up every day to get their pictures taken while striking their best Joker poses.

Since it opened, "Joker" has shattered box office records, bringing in $543 million internationally.
