A California man has been arrested for allegedly selling rapper Mac Miller drugs laced with fentanyl days before his death.
Authorities say 23-year-old Cameron James Pettit sold Miller oxycodone pills, as well as cocaine and Xanax. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency says Petit sold the 26-year-old singer the drugs two days before he was found dead.
CNN, reports that Pettit allegedly gave Miller counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl. According to a DEA press release, Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that is 50 times more potent than heroin.
