Mariah Carey Sold Her 35-Carat Engagement Ring

Mariah Carey has off loaded some serious bling, according to reports. The 48-year-old singer has reportedly sold the $10 million engagement ring from former fiance James Packer for just $2.1 million.  

Carey’s camp have shot down rumors that she is selling the ring because she has money issues. The couple got engaged in January 2016 after they dated for a year but the relationship unraveled amid claims she was spending too much money.  

They officially split in October 2016 with Carey starting to date one of her backing dancers Bryan Tanaka. Packer then revealed that their relationship had been ‘a mistake’ for both of them.
