A lost dog has been reunited with his East Haven family after being missing for two-and-a-half years.
Pepper the dog ran off on busy Route 80 back in October of 2015 and apparently a New Haven woman found the dog wondering with no collar or tags and took Pepper in.
Well last week the New Haven woman felt that she couldn’t take care of the dog any longer and dropped Pepper off at the East Haven Animal Shelter.
The Shelter posted the dog on Facebook and through the power of shares and comments it got back to the East Haven Family and they were able to claim little Pepper and be reunited.
