Come enjoy some games, music, prizes and skating with the KISS 95-7 Street Team from 6-7pm on Thursday December 21, 2017 at Winterfest Skating Rink in Bushnell Park!
Winterfest Hartford is back for its 8th year, providing free winter fun for the whole family. The skating rink in Bushnell Park is open daily for free ice skating and free skate rentals, now through January 8, 2018.
Thursday, December 21 marks the Winter Solstice, which is the shortest period of daylight of the year. To help shine a little light on the darkest day, Winterfest is partnering with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Dunkin’ Donuts for a special celebration.
Former Whalers player Bob Crawford will be in attendance to meet fans and collect donations to benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Stop by to get your photo taken with the pro and enjoy free ice skating!
Dunkin’ Donuts will be onsite to provide guests with a bold way through a dark day with FREE Dark Roast Coffee samples, as part of the brand’s #DunkinDarker campaign. The bold, smooth taste of the Dark Roast coffee pairs perfectly with Dunkin’s Chocolate Glazed Munchkins, which will also be available for free, and will help warm up the skaters. Plus, Dunkin’ mascot Cuppy will take to the ice with Whalers mascot Pucky!
