9/11 Tribute's Happening Across The State

Happening today, people across the state will take pause and remember the September 11th attacks, which happened 16 years ago today.

It’s one of those moments where everyone remembers exactly where they were when it happened. Today, everyone is invited to come out, remember, and reflect.

Flags will be flown at half staff today across the state. As Connecticut pauses to remember the deadliest terrorist attack on u-s soil.

Nearly 3,000 men, women and children lost their lives back in 2001. The governor says 161 of them have ties to Connecticut.The pearl harbor memorial bridge in new haven, or the q bridge, will also be lit up in red white and blue today.

This ceremony begins at 830 this morning.
