"My name is Aliana and I am 12 years old. I will be holding my third fundraiser for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Every year I choose a different department to donate to. This year, I have chosen CCMC School. I am taking donations online and at my event on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 and hope to meet my goal of $5,000. My friends and family chalk the entire concrete entryway, “the pad”, in front of the hospital so when kids look out their windows it will make them smile."
Join Aliana and her friends and family as they celebrate her birthday by creating chalk artwork and messages on the concrete pad in front of the hospital. Patients will participate by sending down messages to be chalked! During the event, participants will also paint rocks that will later be installed in the garden near the Emergency Department entrance. All are welcome!
