63-Year-Old Man Rescued After Treading Water for 5 Hours

A 63-year-old New York man pulled off an astonishing feat. Dan Ho tells Inside Edition he found himself in a crisis, two miles from shore off the coast of Long Island. A rip current swept him miles out to sea but he was able to stay alive by treading water for five hours. While in the water, Ho saw a fishing rod floating by. He grabbed the rod, tied his shirt to it then started waving it like a flag. That's when Jim Hohorst and Michael Ross saw Ho and rescued him.
