Alec Baldwin's name has been cleared.

Page Six reports that the all charges against the actor for the accidental shooting on the set of the film, "Rust," have been dropped.

They report that special prosecutors, Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis, are expected to file the paperwork to clear Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter charges sooner rather than later. They also note that the film's former armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, has not been cleared as of yet.

Page Six reports that in response to the news, Baldwin's attorneys told CNN, 'We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic accident."

As a result of the accidental shooting one of the film's cinematographers, Halyna Hutchins, was killed. The director, Joel Souza, was also injured.
