Christina Applegate Makes First Appearance Since MS Diagnosis

Christina Applegate has officially stepped out for the first time since her diagnosis with MS.

The actress got emotional during her ceremony to unveil her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During the ceremony she said, “The most important person in this world is my daughter... You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and smart and interesting. I’m blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school…thank you for standing by me through all of this.”

Applegate is currently starring in the Netflix series "Dead to Me" which she was already working on when she received the diagnosis, Variety reports. “I got diagnosed while we were working... I had to call everybody and be like, ‘I have multiple sclerosis guys. Like, what the fuck!’ And then it was about kind of learning — all of us learning — what I was going to be capable of doing.”

She went on to say the new season will be different for her as well are viewers, “People are going to see me for the first time as a disabled person, and it’s very difficult,”
