Despite rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix "Fly on the Wall" documentary would have a delayed release due to the upcoming season of The Crown, the doc. will be released as planned!
The release of their almost $100 million deal was supposedly being pushed back a year due to fears of The Crown's” 'hurtful' framing of King Charles and it's 'fictitious' storyline.
Sources told the Daily Mail, the decision push back the Sussex’s documentary comes after the couple was supposedly ‘at odds’ with the production staff about making ‘extensive edits’ and that the Sussex's were “rattled by Netflix, and decided to postpone the documentary.”
Turns out this is not true! Their Netflix documentary will air as scheduled, and will premiere this December.
But Buckingham Palace is nervous for Season 5 of the crown since will cover 1991 to 1997, and will include details of King Charles and Diana’s divorce as well as that legendary Panorama interview in 1995.
Netflix is spending over $13 million per episode on the crown, as it is one of their biggest global hits - so this season is sure to be JUICY!
Season of the crown will premiere Nov 9.
