Miss Texas was crowned Miss USA 2022!
R’Bonney Gabriel is the first Asian-American to win the prestigious title. She will go on to compete for Miss Universe on January 14, in New Orleans, LA.
The competition consists of three main phases: interview, swimsuit and evening gown. A top 5 will be selected and then compete in an on-stage, current event based, final question.
The contestants also competed in a completely separate, for-fun, competition: the state costume competition.
