Can't get attacked by a coyote if your sitting on your couch.
An ultra-marathoner was attacked by a coyote while out on a 150-mile trail run. The incident happened on a popular trail in Marin county, California. Dean Karnazes heard some footsteps coming behind him. When he swung around, a coyote attacked him from behind. Karnazes was able to fight off the coyote using his ultra-marathon poles. Experts say attacks by coyotes are becoming more common due to the animal losing their fear of humans.
