Springfield Public Schools have announced their preliminary plans for the 2020-2021 academic year. Schools would open on August 31 and they would adapt a rotating schedule. Students would attend in person on certain days with classrooms being a smaller capacity and other days, students would work remotely at home. If families did not feel comfortable sending their child to school, they could opt out and continue distance learning.
