Coronavirus Care Packages for Veterans

The Wounded Veterans Project is hosting a very special Care Package Drive at The Shamrock Cafe in Suffield to aid our Veterans during the Coronavirus Pandemic. See below for more information from their post.

April 4th 2-4:00
Erica and I will host a DROP OFF at the Shamrock. We are seeking a CARE PACKAGE made by YOU! Please put in the package things you think are essential for a Veteran. We ARE asking that the package include a gift certificate to a local restaurant. This will help out local restaurants, feed economy AND feed a Veteran. Win win for everyone.
Just come to The Shamrock on April 4th 2-4:00, drive in the back drive through, DON’T get out of your cars. Erica and I will be there to take your care package. Safety precautions will be taken into play so no one get out of your cars. DRIVE THROUGH AND DROP OFF.
April 5th 2-4:00
Veterans drive through, back of Shamrock, to pick up your care packages. We are asking all Veterans to show (show, not give) a copy of their DD214 as proof that you are a Vet. Do NOT get out of your cars. Drive through and receive your care package.
If any packages are left over, we will be donating to local first responders!!! As they do so much for us all!!!!! Especially during times of crisis.
Erica and I can NOT do this by ourselves. We NEED the local community to pull together to make this happen for our Warriors!!!!!
So are you IN?????!!!!!!
Yessss!!!!
Let’s make this happen!!!
If you are a business and want to donate, we are asking that you spend your donation on gift cards to local restaurants and then come to our drop off date to donate. OR contact Erica or myself to get your donation to us when it is more convenient for you.
Thank you in advance from Erica and myself and Wounded Veterans Project Inc!!!
Contact Erica and/or myself with any questions.
