Charlie the 1-year-old bulldog was found after missing for more than a month. He went missing during the Shelton fireworks show July 3 and many community members spread the word and helped search for the missing pup.
Charlie is on the mend. He got checked out by a veterinarian Wednesday and was dehydrated and had lost 19 pounds, but is otherwise healthy, said owner Aimee Artes. He'll get checked out again Thursday.
