Park Closed After Gator Spotted Lurking in New Jersey Waterway

There’s something lurking in the water in a New Jersey town and people who live near by are on high alert. An alligator was spotted in Lake Creighton, commonly known as the Duck Pond, and the Ambrose Brook in Middlesex. That’s hundreds of miles north of where alligators should be swimming. “The suspicion is that someone has it had a pet and just released it which is common when the alligator gets bigger, they are unmanageable,” said Middlesex Borough mayor John Madden.
