You might be surprised to learn the original idea for Glee was much darker than the version that aired.
According to Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, originally Mr. Schuester was supposed to be a crystal meth addict! AND the role wasn’t originally written for Matthew Morrison but for Justin Timberlake!
Murphy dropped this bombshell and chatted all about the early days of glee on the “And That's What You REALLY Missed” podcast.
