Rihanna had a spontaneous encounter with a fan battling cancer while grocery shopping!
According to People, the fan asked for a photo, saying, “I look terrible. I live with cancer." Rihanna immediately reassured her: “You don’t look terrible!”
They note that the fan explained she felt insecure because she wasn’t wearing her wig. Rihanna embraced her and connected over the fact they share the same name, Robyn!
Looking at her natural hair, Rihanna said, “You know what I live for? A good hairline”
She encouraged her not to put herself down in front of others, “Anytime you meet anybody, don’t do that… You’re fire just like that,” Rihanna told her.
People reports that she reinforced the message, adding, “Don’t ever do that again.”
The fan was emotional, telling Rihanna she made her “feel good!”
