According to People a stampede began at a MARTA station after a 10‑year‑old screamed after spotting a MASSIVE cockroach! They note people in the sation panicked and a rushed to the escalators to get out!
People reports that the escalator suddenly sped up, then stopped, causing a pile-up. This caused 11 people to become injured. Injuries ranged from a broken ankle to minor cuts and scrapes.
