Katy Perry and Katie Perry are getting into it!
According to People, Katy Perry (the singer) filed a trademark lawsuit against Katie Perry (the Australian fashion designer)!
They note that Katy claimed that she owns the right to the name and that the clothing line infringes on that trademark. She also sent Katie a cease and desist back in 2009.
However, People reports that a judge ruled that Katy has an "international reputation in her name in music and entertainment if not more broadly," and ruled in her favor.
