An Ohio man is showing the true meaning of Thanksgiving just days before the holiday. The generous customer left a “whopping $3,000 tip” for a single beer Sunday at a Cleveland restaurant that was set to voluntarily close because of the coronavirus pandemic, owner Brendan Ring said on Facebook. Ring said he ran after the man after seeing the tip, but the costumer told him that was no mistake and asked him to share it with the staff. “Unbelievable but symbolic of the kind of quality folks we have (known) at Nighttown all these years,” Ring wrote in a post that also featured a photo of the $7.02 check.
