Tyson Chicken Is Recalling 12 Million Pounds Of Chicken Strips

Tyson Foods is recalling nearly 12 million pounds of frozen chicken strips over possible contamination by pieces of metal.

Six people so far have reported finding bits of metal, three of whom suffered injuries to their mouth. The USDA has deemed it a Class I recall, the most urgent classification.

The recalled products have a use-by date between October 2019 and March 2020 and the number 'P-7221' on the back of the package. The chicken strips are sold under multiple brand names including Food Lion, Best Choice, and Great Value.
