The Cast Of 'Rent' Has A Flash Mob Performance In Hartford

Fans of Rent didn't have to wait 525,600 minutes to get a taste of the show. The cast of the show conducted a flash mob at noon on Friday at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. Despite seeing country-wide drops in HIV, Connecticut has seen increases, particularly in black and hispanic communities.

Rent is set in the 1990s and is about a group of New Yorkers who struggle with career choices, love and AIDS.

The Broadway show is playing at the Bushnell in Hartford from Friday through Sunday.
