CT Volunteers Rescuing Animals From South Carolina

Volunteers from Pack Leaders Rescue in East Hartford drove down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this week after being contacted by a shelter there.

The shelter asked Pack Leaders to save 35 cats so that they wouldn't be stuck at the shelter as Hurricane Florence moves through. The volunteers arrived back in Connecticut with the cats Wednesday morning. The cats will eventually be put up for adoption here in Connecticut, but they will need to be spayed and neutered first.
