First Listen! Dan + Shay Drop Kelly Clarkson Collaboration

Don’t you want to say in country music, Kelly Clarkson?

The pop powerhouse and The Voice coach is featured alongside Dan + Shay’s in “Keeping Score,” the duo’s latest release from their forthcoming self-titled album.

The song is all about taking note of the little things rather than letting love’s big distractions take over.

"I know I’m only human/Don’t know how many sunsets I got left/And I don’t want to ruin/This moment by wondering what comes next,” the singers serenade in the chorus.

“Keeping Score” is the fifth new song Dan + Shay has released from their third studio album, following “Alone Together,” “Speechless,” “All To Myself” and the Top 5 single “Tequila,” which has officially become the duo’s fastest rising single to date.

Kelly Clarkson has previously appeared in country collaborations alongside Jason Alden (“Don’t You Wanna Stay”), Reba (“Because Of You”) and Vince Gill (“Don’t Rush”).

Dan + Shay, the album, drops June 22.
