Carrie Underwood Gives First Interview Since Injury

Carrie Underwood stopped by the Bobby Bones Podcast on Thursday and opened up about the nasty fall that left her with a broken wrist and face injury requiring more than 40 stitches.

She also said the accident "happened shortly after the CMAs." The "Cry Pretty" singer took a fall when she was walking down a flight of stairs with her dogs. Underwood avoided public appearances until her ACM Awards performance on Sunday, April 15. Her husband, Nashville Predators player Mike Fisher, helped her recover.  Underwood joked that Fisher was "all right" as a nurse.
